Aeronautics Schools for Those Who Love to Fly

Most Aeronautics Schools exist to satisfy the interests of those hoping to learn to pilot aircraft. People who choose to pilot airplanes for their livelihood have dreamed of flying since youth. Professional pilots are also a breed apart, because have pursued their dream and have committed and sacrificed to see their childhood dreams realized. Aeronautics Schools train pilots who choose to study flight for purposes of general aviation, aerial photography, corporate aviation, or for entering into the airline industry.

Aeronautics Schools and Aviation Schools can be found that offer flight training programs (pilot training), as well as training in repair and maintenance, aircraft design, electronics, and non-destructive testing (NDT). Some Aeronautics Schools also provide programs of study for associate degrees and bachelor degrees in aeronautics. Degree programs in aeronautics involve designing airplanes and other flight machinery. Specialized Aeronautics Schools address the study all aspects of the science of flight.

Aeronautics Schools must teach a thorough understanding of flight machinery and flight dynamics. Aeronautical engineering involves how air flows around an airplane; propulsion that provides thrust that is needed for a plane to lift off and fly; materials that can be used in planes and in engine structures for effective strength and efficiency; structural design for effective and efficient lift and flight; plane stability in lift and flight; and controlling speed, direction, altitude and various conditions that affect plane flight.

Specialized Aeronautics Schools provide programs for earning Associate of Applied Science Degrees in Aviation Maintenance, Avionics, Quality Control, and Flight for those looking for a competitive edge in the market place. These specialized Aeronautics Schools may also offer Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology Management degrees. This degree allows for even more opportunities, including supervising and managing, that allows increased marketability for advancing careers in aviation and aerospace industries.

Students in Aeronautics Schools can also study to become Aviation Maintenance Technicians. Aviation Technicians inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft, and are in high demand. Students will prepare for this job with the study of mechanical maintenance and repair of aircraft. Courses should be detailed and sophisticated enough to allow for qualified licensing by the FAA. Training as an Aviation Maintenance Technician includes study of mechanics, as well as onboard devices, such as radios, navigation systems, radar systems, flight computers, and many more sophisticated electronics.

Some and Aviation and Aeronautics Schools teach Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Training for public safety and quality production is essential today. The growing demand for qualified Nondestructive Testing and Quality Control technicians with well-develop knowledge and skills required to perform sophisticated testing techniques handling X-ray, liquid dye penetrants, magnetic particle tests, and ultrasonic tests required in many industries. NDT Quality Control Training programs students can expect to learn about manufacturing processes, metrology, statistics, and total quality management.

Some Aeronautics Schools also provide opportunities for employment to their students through their worldwide placement programs.
